I’m not sure about you but, and I’ve done it many times, the whole process of finding and raising money is pretty draining. It can also be expensive, especially when lawyers and accounts get on board, so I wish Scottish Edge had been around years ago when I was on the funding hunt.
Actually, looking back, I didn’t want just money, I wanted support. I wanted companionship as I grew my business.
So if you’re a scale up or growing business or are just curious about what is involved in finding a good funder, then you’ll love my chat with Evelyn McDonald on this edition of The Enterprise Iain Show.
Evelyn is CEO of Scottish Edge, a community interest company that is full of joy. Yeah, I never thought pitching for support could be full of joy – did you?
Tune in as I put Evelyn in the hot seat and you find out about beer into water, toilet brushes and pizza ovens!!!
